How to Sell Listings that Need to be Sold Yesterday in order to Avoid Foreclosure - Not a Short Sale!

Real Estate Scenario -

You have a great listing that you felt was priced fairly well in this market.   Your sellers are beginning to panic because they

need to get sold before the home goes into foreclosure.  They have a reasonably small mortgage, but haven't managed the payments  because of loss of jobs (Yes, folks are still losing those!)   If they can just sell for almost anything - just to keep "foreclosure" out of their financial history!!!    They have 3-4 months....

Would you reduce it a little and hope for the best?

Would you reduce it massively  (like a fire sale) and hope for lots and lots of bidders to bring it up to market value?

What else can you offer or do to avoid foreclosure?   Lots and lots of comments, please?

The most recent ranking of the nation’s high schools published by U.S. News & World Report distinguished Connecticut with 11 gold medal schools, 24 silver medal schools, and 4 bronze medal schools. Of the top 10 best high schools listed, half were in the 26th district. Weston, Ridgefield, Wilton, Joel Barlow, Darien, New Canaan, and Staples High School were recognized.
