Phew! Is This What "AS IS" Means?
I keep showing houses lately that have been abandoned by the owners, but they seem to have stored their animals in the houses for a while after leaving.
First of all, I think this is called abuse, - leaving animals unsupervised and without access to go to the bathroom in a normal healthy fashion.... These homes had carpet on top of good hardwood, and the stench is absolutely crazy. In one home, the carpet and filth was still there in one room - what is the agent thinking? The carpeting had been removed from the other rooms, but not the under padding, which was still soaked with urine.
Other homes just had it so thoroughly imbedded in the hardwood, that you couldn't walk through and breathe.
I do not understand what this is saying about the humans that lived in these homes. There have been 4 homes like this in the last two months, and each has been in a different price range. The rich are not immune.
It's pretty bad when you need to ask your buyers to wear masks and boots to look at homes....
What do you think this tells us?
