Did you know that Wilton's Kiwanis 3rd Annual Pumpkin Sale started from last weekend at the Wilton Historical Society?
The annual Pumpkin Drive started with the unloading of pumpkins at the end of September. Sales have begun ever since then and continue through Halloween. It is a great way of celebrating the annual harvest and enjoying the beautiful weather while supporting the community.
Kiwanis helps kids around the world and Wilton Kiwanis Club has been looking out for our community.
What Kiwanis believe is that when you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed any thrive, great things can happen. So they carry on their mission by looking out for every opportunity to reach more people and acheive more to support the poor.
This Wilton Kiwanis' 3rd annual Pumpkin sale is one of many seasonal fund raising efforts where, this Pumpkin Sale is not only offering Wilton area residents the opportunity to enjoy the fresh pumpkins; but also 100% of the net proceeds are distributed by Kiwanis to dozens of local not-for-profit causes.
This not-to-be-missed event brings neighbors and their friends and your family together for any weekend in October. It is an amazing family day where memories can be made. With a panorama of spectacular fall foliage at Wilton's Historical Society on Route 7 in Wilton, not only will you be celebrating this fall picking out your own pumpkin, but also you are helping those in need, those discomforted and those suffering when you buy a pumpkin at this event organized by Kiwanis.

The most recent ranking of the nation’s high schools published by U.S. News & World Report distinguished Connecticut with 11 gold medal schools, 24 silver medal schools, and 4 bronze medal schools.
