Dagny Eason, Fairfield County's Real Estate Blog: Do You Have a "BEST OF THE BEST?"

Do You Have a "BEST OF THE BEST?"

Do You Have a "BEST OF THE BEST?"

Do you have a booklet you can pass on to your clients - sellers and buyers that always is current and has the best contractors and vendors of your area?

I do.

This is another way that I go out of my way to provide all I can for my clients.

Above and beyond .......

I vet all of my painters, carpenters, builders, floor people, plumbers, electricians, acupuncturists, divorce lawyers, inspectors, etc.    I remind them at least 3 times a year that I depend on them to help my clients in their lives.  I need them to always have the best service, the best manners (means returning calls mostly,) and they must stay steady with their charges.

If a contractor has in mind that if they are too busy so they can just raise the prices to double, they are not in my book.   Also, if I need them to bend their schedule a little to help a seller get their house ready for market as a last minute job, they try their best to accommodate me and them.

My contractors are all EXPECTED to be:

RELIABLE

TRUSTWORTHY

REASONABLE

EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELDS

If a contractor decides to slip from the expected, they are out of my book.   Therefore, I have the very best of all of the best helping my clients - they know up front what is expected of them.   They also know what is upsetting to me, and they know my clients always keep me informed.

Therefore, my book is always changing.   I know I hold a very high and hard to maintain standard, and can understand when things get tough for a contractor, but it doesn't mean they stay in the book.

My book is always the BEST OF THE BEST!

The most recent ranking of the nation’s high schools published by U.S. News & World Report distinguished Connecticut with 11 gold medal schools, 24 silver medal schools, and 4 bronze medal schools. Of the top 10 best high schools listed, half were in the 26th district. Weston, Ridgefield, Wilton, Joel Barlow, Darien, New Canaan, and Staples High School were recognized.

Nice pamphlet and a great idea for all of us.  Thanks for sharing this.

Nice to put it in booklet form. (I'm adding this idea to things to consider in 2015.)

I think this is a great idea. There are some agents here who have a vendor list on their website. I've often wondered if that's a good idea.

Dagny, this is a great asset for any homeowner, a list of contractors that can be counted on.  Hiring a contractor is always such a wildcard and it is nice to have someone who has taken the time to seek out the good ones.

Good morning Dagny. Your clients are very fortunate to be working with you. Beside being their Realtor, you are a trusted course for many services they will need in the future.

Make it a great week!

This is a great idea.  I often recommend contractors to my customers, but I don't have a "book" yet.
